Practice Policies

A detailed description of practice policies and logistics is shared with scheduled patients prior to their first appointment. Current patients should refer to this document or ask Dr. Frank for any questions about practice logistics or policies. An overview of policies of highest interest to prospective patients is below.

  • Dr. Frank asks that patients notify the practice at least 48 hours prior to a scheduled appointment if they need to cancel. If patients do not cancel in this time frame or fail to come to an appointment, they will be charged the full fee. Dr. Frank may waive the fee in certain circumstances, such as medical emergencies.

  • Patient privacy is very important to us. We utilize appropriate technological tools and HIPAA-compliant software to protect your privacy.

  • The best way to reach Dr. Frank is via phone/voicemail (617-286-2422) or, for established patients, via secure messaging through your patient portal.

With the exception of scheduling reminders or alerts that you have a message in your secure portal, we do not routinely communicate with clients via email or text message, as these are less protective of your privacy.

  • If you are experiencing any kind of medical or mental health emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately.

  • Please see the Fees and Insurance section for more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate.
